Why I'm comfortable with complicated topics

My path wasn't a straight line from “tech guy” to “AI teacher.” It started with science and clinical work — learning how evidence is produced, how labs operate, and how important it is to explain things clearly when someone's health or decisions are on the line.

What I'm doing now

After I retired, neighbors kept saying the same thing: AI looked useful, but they didn't know where to start. So I started walking people through ChatGPT, Claude, and practical AI prompts — patiently, safely, without judgment. Today that work includes this site, the free guide, webinars, and one-on-one sessions.

Important: I teach AI as an educator and guide. I don't practice medicine, law, or financial planning. For anything that affects your health, legal standing, or money, AI can be a starting point — your professional still makes the final call.
